Gal's Tips for Handling Club Creeps!

Nightclubs are a great place to have fun with your friends. London nightclubs especially are very safe and very comfortable places to be. Unfortunately, though, the bouncers can’t tell on the way in who's going to turn into a sleazy drunk and who'll just be talkative! Sometimes you need to take matters into your own hands to ensure that you have a good time at your nightclub in London, instead of feeling harassed (or worse) all night. Here's some valuable tips for taking your Saturday night back into your own hands, and dealing with the types of guys that a girl just doesn't need buzzing round!
Brewery Breath
The bouncers haven't caught up with this guy yet, but they soon will. In the meantime, you need to take some pretty definitive action to get these club hazards off your back - alcohol completely cuts the 'reason' circuit out of anything and everything some guys do, so there's no point trying any of the usual tactics. Don't be afraid to be a little harsh to these guys - tell them straight up that you aren't interested. If they keep hassling you, security at your London nite club will be happy to back you up.
Staring Competition Entrant
The 'starer' usually come to a club alone or with a single friend. If they decide they like you, they'll often stare intently at you, no matter where you are or what you're doing. Nobody knows what is going through their minds as they do this - we don't want to! You really need to confront these guys to scare them away. Got a male friend with you? They are the best person to do the dirty work.
The Groper
These guys usually strike when you’re dancing and preoccupied - if you aren't interested in physical contact, turn around and give him a withering look straight in the eyes … you shouldn’t need to say anything.
Cheetahs - not so fast and smooth
Nightclubs are notorious places for guys to look for a fling away from their current girlfriend. This is one of the most subtle, and damaging, types of nightclub sleazes you can encounter. Nobody wants to be the homewrecker … but how are you to know? Look out for cellphone calls he won't answer, and pay attention to his friends' attitudes … you'll pick up on a vibe if they are hiding something.

Saturday Night Styling Tips: Rachel McAdams Inspired Do's

Rachel McAdams has definitely moved on from her bitchy prom princess role in Mean Girls, and is not only a well-rounded actress … but a gorgeous one! Almost nothing she does looks bad, so why not take a leaf out of her style book for your next visit to a London nightclub? Today we're checking out her crowning glory - her hair - which is a perfect mix of up-dos, relaxed and casual styles, and always has plenty of 'wiggle-room' in the styles for you to copy!
If you've got fine to medium hair, and little hair across your head, this is a great London nightlife style for you. It creates a wonderfully filled out look, and is sooooo easy to do! Even if you spend your whole pre-nightclub afternoon having preparatory drinks rather than getting ready, you can still look hot. Here's how to do it:
  • Dampen your hair and scrunch styling mousse through it
  • Part it either over the middle of your left or right eye
  • Clip away a section of your hair from the front right, if you've parted to the left, or the front left if you parted to the right.
  • Blowdry your hair with a radial brush - pull the brush straight out from your scalp from the roots to halfway down the shaft, and curve it around the brush after that. Do the back first, then the sides.
  • Blowdry your fringe off in the opposite direction to your part. If you parted to the left (as in the picture), then blowdry your fringe to the right.
  • Blowdry the section you clipped away earlier off to the opposite side from your part.
  • Curl the mid lengths and the ends of your hair with a curling iron
  • Finish the ends of your hair with styling wax - pinch and piece them out
If you want to, apply some smoothing serum and lacquer to the mid lengths and ends of your hair.
To copy this Rachel McAdams style well for your next night of clubbing in London, you'll need to do a bit more prep … including getting your hair razor cut! This style is extremely easy if you have the base there already. Once you've got the cut, here's how to get that awesomely sexy look:
  • While you hair is still damp, give it a spritz with gel spray and work some mousse through it#
  • Part it to whichever side you prefer
  • Section your hair off into two back and two side portions on each side - four total
  • Blow dry the back 'out' - so pull your brush out as you dry from root to tip
  • Do the same with the sides
  • Dry the crown
  • Apply some wax to the back of your hair, and lift the crown with wax also.
