You'll know most of these songs … even if you don't recognize them by name, if you're a club-bunny (or just a gal who goes to clubs!), you will have tapped your feet, put your arms in the air, gyrated and bum-slapped to many of these tunes at your favourite nightclubs in London. We're taking a trip down "Oh, yeah!" lane today with seven hot London nightclub classic tunes.
1. Eric Prydz, Call on Me
If you don’t recognize the name of this one, and you don’t even recognize the song once you hear it, then you'll certainly recognize the filmclip! The gym instructor and his ever-faithful student do exercise moves that get them very sweaty … but unfortunately the rest of the chorus never does get sung.
2. Silosonic -- Something
This has been remixed by both Soul Corporation and Buzz Kitchen. It's pot luck what you'll hear at your fave London nightclub -- the Buzz Kitchen one is a personal favourite!
3. Faithless -- Insomnia
One of the most recognizable club tunes EVER, IN HISTORY, Faithless's Insomnia is a tune that's spine-tingling, spooky and very easy to sing along to ...especially considering no-one can hear you.
4. Bananarama -- Move In My Direction
Their first top 40 hit in twelve years ... critics blasted it, but we still danced to it. "It's been seven days since my last confession, and I really don't know where to begin ..."
5. Uniting Nations -- You & Me
If you recognize this tune off the Huge Club Tunes disc sold on Amazon, you might actually know the band as Unitying Nations. Doesn't make sense, though, does it? This is a more recent offering from a relatively new band for London nightclub goers.
6. Armand Van Helden -- When The Lights Go Down
Who doesn’t love a bit of Armand at their fave club in London? Nobody! When the Lights Go Down charted well, but did better on the dancefloors.
7. Gadjo -- So Many Times
Another one your friends are probably making fun of you for if you've been quoting the artist name as it appears on Amazon ... as Gadgo! This tune starts slow, but that's just for anticipation ... and so you get a chance to shout to your mates.
