Makeup tips for Nightclubs in London - 4 Big Tips for Luscious Lashes

At London nightclubs, you often won’t be able to hear much of what people are saying… and I suppose that's why we go! However, it does mean that people will be looking at your face a lot more than usual, using your expressions and body language to try and figure out what you’re saying. And that means that you'll really want to look your best! If you have always battled with lash makeup, fighting clumping, odd colours and running, we have some top tips today for creating sexy, stay-put eyelashes for your London nightclub adventures!
Vaseline
Heaps of gals swear by this one, as a conditioner and protectant. If you use mascara a lot (and therefore makeup remover a lot), putting Vaseline on your eyelashes at night, and a tiny bit before you apply mascara, helps protect them from all that use and abuse. If you work outside and get a lot of sun, this also helps protect against UV damage.
Separate and curl
It's not something that you'd want to do every day, but if you separate and curl your eyelashes before a night out in a London nightclub, your makeup will look better for longer, as well as coming off more easily. Separate them with a toothbrush, and curl them with a good quality eyelash curler.
Good quality mascara
Blush, face powder, and body glitter … these can all be bought cheaply with relative safety. Mascara that doesn’t make you wince when you look at the price tag, though, is never worth it! Cheap formulations inevitably clump or leak, no matter how carefully you apply them. Just don't do it! Buy a small bottle to minimize waste.
Apply falsies
These can look a bit tarty in the cold light of day … but if you can't wear false eyelashes to a club, where can you wear them? If you can't manage to get them on, get a make up artist to help you the first couple of times until you get the hang of it. You'll soon be one of the sexiest non-speaking conversationalists at your London nightclub!
